Life care facts
It’s simple. By choosing Life Care, you can add a vital layer of financial protection to your future, with:
- Predictable monthly expenses for the rest of your life
- Guaranteed priority access to a full continuum of health care
- Estate protection through an entrance fee that is up to 90% refundable
Entrance fee
One-time, upfront payment, based on the size of the residence you choose. Payment of your entrance fee will entitle you to lifetime use of your residence and the availability of long-term care. Your entrance fee is as much as 90% refundable to you or your estate.
Monthly service fee
Will cover Life Care benefits plus a variety of services, including your meal plan, housekeeping, scheduled transportation, concierge, activities, events, and interior and exterior maintenance. The size of your residence determines the amount of your monthly service fee.
Lifelong care
Protection for life, no matter what happens to your financial status. With Life Care, if you outlive your resources for reasons outside of your control and are unable to pay your monthly service fee, you will still be guaranteed residency and priority access to on-site long-term health care.
Eligibility at move-in
Benefits available as soon as the community opens. Once you’ve been approved for Life Care and made the required refundable deposit, you’re eligible for Life Care benefits just as soon as the community opens. Your eligibility will not be affected if you develop health needs after your approval and before the community opens.
Long-term care insurance and Life Care
A viable combination for additional benefits. Check with your insurance carrier or agent for specifics about your long-term care policy, but Life Care and long-term care insurance usually work well together.
Tax benefits
